Ok- so I've planned on starting my 100% Raw food challenge on the 15th. This isn't the first time i've tried crossing over from SAD (Standard American Diet) to RAW. I failed the first time, and I think the main reason of that was because i didn't gradually introduce my body to it- instead just tried to go overnight. That CAN'T happen, well with me anyways. Not only am I going RAW, but i'm going from being a meat eater to a Raw Vegan, so it's more than just one step. On this time around, i've decided to take a week and realyl strict myself, and it's really working. I've been keeping track of what i've been eating, including calorie, fat, carb, and protien intake. (That will be later attached to the bottom.) 
Things that I have noticed in the past week: 1) I have WAY more energy. 2)I run a lot better, and i can catch my breath a lot faster 3) I pee way, WAY more often than I used to- about 8 times day.. mostly because all the stuff i'm eating is about 80% water, so figure. 4) The whites of my eyes are significantly BRIGHTER  than ever before. Oh, and i've also lost 5 pounds since last Monday- all from watching what I eat and running more often than I used to. (I can't directly relate this weight loss to RAW foods, because the week before i was counting calories and eating lean cousines..) I haven't been near 100% raw on this week, but really cut down on my meat and dairy products. (See below) One of the main reasons i've been eating chicken and tacos and cheese is because i don't want to waste it, so I had to eat it before i went bad. (its all gone now!) 
I'm still learning about all the right raw foods to eat, and which ones to mix together- and the ones to NOT. The cooked food i do eat, don't taste the same. My body has gotten used to eating fruit in the morning, and seems like it's not satisfied if i eat otherwise. The salad were a big pain in the ass when i first started- but i've gotten into the 'groove'. Adding different things each day to your salad makes everything more interesting. 
One thing that has surprised me, is that i'm totally off my dependency of SALAD DRESSING! Used to be, if i was eating a salad, it HAD to have ranch dressing, otherwise i wouldn't eat it. Luckily i found the miracle juice of limes and lemons, and they do the job! Oh, i also put pepper and lemon pepper on my salads too- it add the extra kick. I'm not sure if those are 'raw' but- all they are is spices, so i'm sure it's not that bad. I have a 'salt tooth' and through out the day i get real bad craving for something salty, so that gives me my fix. (See below my bags of chips i've ate while on those cravings!) 
Ok- enough talking about my last week- I'm starting the 100% Raw tomorrow, after work. I can't wait to go shopping (at costco!) and get all my yummy raw foods.
Everyday i'm going to keep track of what I eat (pictures too!) and all the fat/carb/protien intake for my personal use and all of you out there who are interested in RAW Foods. I'll also share my feelings for that day, the ups and downs, and also my weight loss.

I'm not too proud of myself today, as of what I ate...

I ate the usual for breakfast, and was doing good up until lunch time...
i made myself this beautiful salad, and someone just HAD to warm up a pizza.. or pasta or something..
so i went to fazolis and had doulbe slice of pepperoni pizza, and felt really guity.
Later for dinner, i had (very, very good) homemade nachos at my friends house. 

Well tomorrow is the first day- so here I come! 

(Sorry so short and staggered... I sliced the hell out of my finger, and its hard to type)
